If you buy goose eggs by 4’s, the packaging is reusable. Great for transporting eggs and egg creations to shows, classes and elsewhere.
 
GOOSE EGG(S) SECONDS: Eggshells may have some texture, slight creases, or a calcium bump(s).
For the most, they can be sanded to semi-smooth or complete smoothness. (wet sanding is best to keep the dust at a minimum or etching in vinegar to remove some of the textured surface). If you desire to write pysanky or batik eggs, many imperfections can be very well hidden or barely noticeable in the designs.
TEARDROP:
The teardrop-shaped goose egg is ideal for tree ornaments with any craft procedure.
WIDE:
The wide goose egg has an extra wide girth making it a fuller less tapered egg.
NARROW:
The narrow goose egg had a slender cylinder shape giving it almost straight sides. Narrow is also excellent for tree ornaments.
REGULAR:
Regular-shaped goose eggs are in between the narrow and wide. If you desire not to tapered, or plump, it is a good size.
